This would be a good digital SLR for a beginner?
I'm interested in photography as a hobby and I am a beginner. What would be a good DSLR camera to start? I do not want something too cheap, but it should not be so complicated.
OK, here's my short answer. I have a digital camera Nikon D40 and I love it. The D40 has full manual mode, aperture priority flexible mesh of the program, shutter-priority modes. These are the same in all modes of DSLR. It also has several things planned for other modes such as portrait, children of the night, etc. as a photographer improves and test learnds using these additional modes seldom get used so they are usually in the more armature cameras and considers it necessary in professional cameras. I feel I have some experience as a photographer and works for me, but I can give my 12 y / o son breakfast, if you look at the program and you can get good use of photos. His picture is improving as is already learning to use most of the functions himself (yes, I am proud of Pepe). I also do not fall into megapixel hype and instead focus on the question of the entire sensor. And when above the cameras have progressed to the point that most what's on the market now would be obsolete. I bought a D300 last year and had a few months when the D700 was released. The barrel will also well, but I am a Nikon person so I suggest. I have friends who are very satisfied with their Canon and taking good pictures. You others, including Pentax and olympus and are bad, but not cameras if they were in the same stadium that would use many other professional photographers
